Managing Attorney at Medical Injury Law
My name is Morgan Cartwright, I am the managing attorney at Medical Injury Law PLLC. I started the firm to work on behalf of victims of medical malpractice and better our healthcare system. I previously worked at a law firm that specialized in medical malpractice litigation. During my time there, I advanced the medical/legal profession through advocating on behalf of injured patients. I found that I had a passion for providing devoted, caring, and individualized legal help to people who found themselves in a hard position due to an injury from the medical profession's failure to adhere to certain standards.
A little more about myself. I found a passion for working on behalf of people rather than large corporate entities. I am a “double dawg” graduate of the University of Washington (receiving undergraduate and law school degrees at UW). During my education at the University of Washington School of Law, I participated in appellate mock trials and on the Thurgood Marshall National Mock Trial team. I was also Moot Court Honor Board. I was also a Managing Editor of the Washington International Journal of Law. After law school, I worked for the Medical-Legal Partnership (part of the Northwest Justice Project). During that time, I advocated on behalf of families with children who had complex medical/educational needs. I developed a strong sense of justice for the people I helped and felt that my legal knowledge could promote righteousness in the community.
I have decided to start Medical Injury Law as a way of providing people individualized legal help. When you call, you will be able to talk to me, the managing lawyer, rather than a robot. Even if I cannot help with your case, I aim to provide you the legal guidance necessary for you to understand your options. I can also work with some of the best trial attorneys in the state if it requires. My goal is to help you maximize the potential of your potential legal case in any way I can.
Beyond advocating for clients, I enjoy supporting the Seattle Sounders, traveling, and visiting the various museums, events, and microbreweries in the Pacific Northwest Region. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life and want to represent this area at the highest level.
